J.J. Sandham – Smoked Cheddar

This Lancashire made cheddar from J.J. Sandham is made to the traditional recipe of a vintage cheddar and is then smoked for 8 hours over Lancashire oak. They then take the cheese, cut and blend it to get an even smoke flavour throughout before moulding and waxing it. The cheese will have a lovely rounded mature flavour with a background of smokiness.
